Why we started Legacy.
Legacy started because too many good businesses were getting turned down by banks that never asked a single question about how the business actually runs. Some of our clients needed money by Friday. Some had been sitting on a bank application for six weeks with nothing to show for it.
A bank saying no does not mean the business is not working. Most of the time it means nobody there really looked. And while that decision makes its way back to you, payroll is still due, the material still has to get bought, and the season turns whether the money came through or not.
We started Legacy so that is not where it ends. You get a person, not a form. We look at the business you actually run instead of a number attached to your name, and you get a straight answer quickly rather than waiting weeks to be told no again. If we can help, we tell you. If we cannot, we tell you that too.
We go through the file by hand and read the statements the way somebody who has run a business would. A slow season looks like a slow season to us. Then we call, say what fits and what it costs, and leave the decision to you.
Nothing here gets read by a machine. You get one specialist and their direct line, and answers from someone who already knows your file.
